Max Edwin Duquette, 73, Helena, died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2009, at Wood County Hospital, Bowling Green.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Barndt Funeral Home, Wayne.
Nellie Scott
Nellie Scott, 68, Fostoria, passed away Friday, Jan. 30, 2009, at Toledo Hospital.
She was born on July 27, 1940 in Spartanburg, S.C. to the late Robert and Floree (Smith-Dawkins) Woodruff.
She is survived by her twin sister, Martha Harris, Brooklyn, N.Y.; sister, Josephine Houston, Detroit, Mich.; brothers, Robert Woodruff, Detroit, Mich.; Thomas Tucker, Fostoria; daughters, Amanda Green, Toledo; Charlene Scott, Fremont; sons, Robert Scott, Rodney Scott and Tony Scott, all of Fostoria; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Dorothy Martin.
She retired from Honeywell after more than 30 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Fostoria where she was on the Mother Board and in the choir. She also enjoyed bowling and watching sports especially the Cleveland Browns, Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Indians. She will be remembered for making a mean batch of Mac and Cheese and for the love she gave her grandchildren and great-grandchildren especially, A.J.
Visitation is 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009, at MANN-HARE-HOENING FUNERAL HOME, 407 N. Countyline St. Fostoria.
Funeral Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009, at First Baptist Church with the Rev. T.A. Smith officiating. Burial to follow.
