arrests

Sunday:

• Officer responded to a call from Fostoria Community Hospital for a violent patient in the emergency room. Paul D. Farner, 33, 800 Woodward Ave., Lot 72, arrested on three counts of assault: two against emergency room personnel and one against a police officer.

• Tracy L. Sheridan, 44, 339 Fall St., was arrested on a warrant. According to police report, marijuana was found in subject's pocket upon arrest.

• Daniel D. Thomas, 21, 514 McDougal St., was arrested on a warrant out of Tiffin. According to police report, a small bag of marijuana was found on subject during arrest.

• Jimmy D. Cook, 46, 820 S. Poplar St., was arrested on a warrant.

Saturday:

• Brett M. Fanning, 52, 360 Lewis St., and Jason A. Saldusky, 39, 11267 W. TR 35, were arrested on warrants after the vehicle they were traveling in was pulled over during a traffic stop.

• Mandinka L. Johnson, 20, 1200 Peeler Drive, warrant

thefts

Sunday:

• Eisenhower Drive caller advised Christmas lights were stolen during night, including five stars that change colors.

• West South Street caller advised his girlfriend took his vehicle.

Saturday:

• North Countyline Street employee advised male subject stole alcohol from store.

Friday:

• North Countyline Stree employee advised checks written on a closed account were cashed.

vandalism

Sunday:

• North Countyline Street caller advised electric box was vandalized. Officer advised glass on box for one residence was broken and that American Electric Power had turned off the electric at a second residence. The lock on the box for the second residence had been broken and someone had turned the electric back on. Owner of residences advised and will contact AEP.

Saturday:

• Bugner Street caller advised vehicle's door handle on driver's side was damaged.

miscellaneous

Sunday:

• West North Street caller advised a subject was slumped over in a running vehicle and requested officer. Officer given consent to search and discovered an open container of beer in the cup holder. Subject dropped off by officer at West Jackson Street location.

• Columbus Avenue caller advised she was gone for the weekend and someone broke into her house. Caller stated she does not believe anything is missing.
