Arcadia schedules registration Aug. 10-12

Arcadia schools are gearing up for the school year, which begins Aug. 19.

All new students attending Arcadia Local School may register between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Aug. 10-12. Parents and guardians should bring the student's birth certificate, social security number, immunization records, proof of residency and, if applicable, any court ordered custody papers.

On Aug. 12, middle and high school students can pick up schedules in the office between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Orientation for all seventh graders and new middle and high school students begins at 3 p.m. in the auditorium. Lifetouch will be present to take fall pictures and all students need to have a picture taken for a photo identification. Fall sports and band photos will also be taken and school fees can be paid at this time.

For elementary students, an open house is scheduled 3:30-5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18. Students may bring their school supplies and meet their teachers.
